To enter temporary study data for a patient:
Adding an actual new field to our database is not trivial, so in to get maximum flexibility our temporary project data is stored in attribute-value groups rather than in new fields for each project. The L TmpV2 table stores the data.
# open the patient to add a move in the Patient Viewer
* L TmpV2.project stores the project (or attribute name); there is no tight convention; but a lot of projects only need one entry but some need more, and for those two similarly named project entries will be used.

This page contains generic instructions for data collectors for data collected under the Entity–attribute–value model of the L_Tmp_V2 table, usually for temporary data collection. See Projects for a list. Also see Setting up a new tmp project.

Collection instructions

For a list of projects we have collected and their collection instructions, see Projects.

To enter temporary study data for a patient:

  1. open the patient to add a move in the Patient Viewer
  2. go to the Patient Viewer Tab Tmp
  3. for some projects, lines may have been added via Automatic Generation of TMP entries; if so, update them as instructed in the Project's page
  4. choose the Project as directed in the Project's page for the first dropdown
  5. choose the item for the second dropdown
  6. if you want to see field names and the link to the relevant wiki page, open the TmpV2 editor:
    • click on the "pencil" to the left of the new entry to save it
    • click the "edit" button to open the entry with the labels appropriate for its study; this also contains a link to the wiki page for the project.
  7. enter the remaining required fields as instructed in the article for Project the study you are working on]
