Medical Assistance In Dying is a program that allows terminally ill patients to access the assistance of a physician to control the time and circumstances of their death. See links under #Program Details for more info.
Should we collect this?
Template:Discuss@task We are currently discussing if and how we would collect this.
- I can’t see how we would possibly not want to track this, since it’s in the same category as comfort care. Question will more likely be what exactly we would collect: enrollment with MAID, or execution of the MAID plan. An enrollment might mean no action for months after, but it would still “set a tone” in that someone enrolled may not be as likely to want CPR. Ttenbergen 16:30, 2017 July 19 (CDT)
