| *Here is a rule copied from our Transfer Ready Wiki Section:
| |
| *=== status changing back and forth ===
| |
| If a patient changes from being transfer ready back to not being transfer ready, collect the '''first''' transfer ready dttm.
| |
|
| |
| There used to be different instructions for Medicine and Critical Care but they are being unified with the move to the new fields as discussed with Dr. Garland, Dr. Roberts and Randy Martin.

| *Just want to discuss this point: When a patient in the ICU's "transfer ready" changes because of a deterioration in condition, I do not think this should be considered "avoidable days in the ICU" in my opinion. I think including this group of patients in your statistics will skew the results to be more avoidable days than there actually are. You cannot transfer a patient that deteriorates and needs ICU care. --[[User:LKolesar|LKolesar]] 13:25, 2017 September 26 (CDT)
