*This code is for INSERTION of a transvenous pacemaker.  Also use it if the device is a pacemaker/defibrillator.

*{{Discussion}}  The title here indicates the insertion of a Defibrillator, then the bracketed section has "transcutaneous, epicardial leads".  This title is poorly written and the category is confusing.
*The options are:
*1. ICD (defibrillator implant);
*2. Permanent Pacemaker ( done surgically);
*3. Temporary pacemaker insertion ( done either with epicardial wires usually only seen in cardiac surgical patients  OR transvenously for every other patient.
*4. Transcutaneous pacing (which is done with external pads placed on the patient chest).
*I assume this category is only for defibrillator insertion because we already have the temporary and permanent pacer options.  Not sure what is meant by the bracketed section here.--[[User:LKolesar|LKolesar]] 07:12, 2018 July 12 (CDT)
