This article documents the scan-to-network functionality of our scanner. The main use for this is TISS28 Form Scanning using Teleform.
Instructions
On the scanner:
- put forms into scanner face up
- on scanner interface, click "Scan to Network"
- click "Scan to Network" a second time
- click "Scan it" button
- When scanning done, it will say "scan successful"
- With a message showing "Would you scan additional documents?"
- click "No"
High volume scanning
We have observed that scanning more than ~10 pages at a time can lead to a smudge/line showing up in the scanned image, requiring re-scans. To avoid this:
- scan no more than 10 pages per batch
File locations
The scanner has been configured with an option labeled: Scan to Network. This option saves the file(s) to the following network share:
- \\hsc1msfp0001.ad.wrha.mb.ca\intmed_CCMDB_ScanFolder
Currently the only users with access to this share are:
