*the information below relates to the [[HSC Med nonteaching contingency beds]].
*related information moved to [[HSC Med nonteaching contingency beds]] article.
*H733-1 to 6 are the non teaching beds that are intermittently open for high bed occupancy periods.

*The patients will be given a number 733-1 to 733-6
* If the patients are under other services '''(ie.''neuro'',oncology, rehab, etc) we DO NOT collect data on them unless they get transferred to A,D,B or H medicine ward were data is being collected?'''
*Depending on the isolation needs the location of the patients on the 7th floor unit may vary.

*Cubicle 1 and 8 are isolation rooms with negative pressure and positive pressure capability. They could be used for both teaching and non-teaching patients.

*If patients belong to A,D,H or Pat Stein was following the data collector responsible for the service will collect on the non-teaching side.
*Can you please clarify the above?  At the beginning of this article it says that HSC includes neuro and oncology patients but here under contingency bed section you says you DO NOT include?
* If the patients are under other services '''(ie.''neuro'',oncology, rehab, etc) we DO NOT collect data on them unless they get transferred to A,D,B or H medicine ward were data is being collected?'''.
*Here is an example of how to code-Pt originally admitted to D4, transferred to H4H and remained under D med. Now made non-teaching and transferred to H733 under a D service doctor.  This pt should be admitted to  D4(location) with a new log number. The move will be to H7N with the same time and date as the admit time. In the comment section of the TMP put H733. If the same patient went to a non-teaching bed on H4 the location would say D4, the move would say H7N and in the comment section put H4.
