We have mailing distribution lists for all programs and locations in the Outlook Email Global Address Book.

  1. Data collector distribution lists, the names follow the convention DC_<hosp>_<program>, e.g. DC Vic Med.
    • Trish Ostryzniuk is the manager of this list.
    • there are 12 contact groups for our program.
    • DC CC - contains all the members of the ICU collection group in the city.
    • DC MED - contains all the members of the Medicine collection group in the city.
  2. Director and Manager Electronic Report distribution lists, naming convention RPT <hosp> <unit or program>, e.g. RPT STB MED, RPT STB ICMS, RPT VIC MED, etc
    • Pagasa Torres is the manager of this list.Trish Ostryzniuk 19:18, 2013 April 30 (EDT)
    • three director use home email rather than work email, so they would not be included in any or the groups. Who ever is sending out any report must remember to include them

Viewing members of an Outlook Mailing List

In Outlook

If you are using MS Outlook, to look into a DC contact group to see "who" is a member of the group:

  1. Open an email
  2. in the "TO" field, type: DC. You will see all the DC contact groups that we have.
  3. click your mouse "once" on the group you want.
  4. right click your mouse on the contact group and it will open the group allowing you to see who are the members.

In Outlook WebAccess

If you are using Outlook WebAccess, check the wiki to see who works at a location. Trish keeps the wiki pages and the mailing lists consistent.

Sending to a Mailing List

In either Outlook or Outlook WebAccess, to sent to a DC group:

  1. Open an email
  2. in the "TO" field, type: DC. You will see all the DC contact groups that we have
  3. click the group you want to send to (will highlight it)
  4. click the "To" button to put the group into the To field
  5. click OK to bring you back to the email
  6. type your email and send
