This template maintains consistency in the concept of antimycobacterials is used in several situations in our data collection:

  • from Drugs Collected: Isoniazid (INH), Rifabutin (mycobutin), Ethambutal (Ethambutol; Etibi), Pyrazinamide (rifater), Streptomycin, Rifampicin, Rifampin
  • from Resistance to antimicrobials, anti-mycobacterial agent:
    • isoniazid, rifampin, rifampicin, rifabutin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, streptomycin, amikacin, kanamycin, capreomycin, viomycin, enviomycin, ** ethionamide, prothionamide, cycloserine, terizidone

excludes sometimes but not others:

  • ciprofloxacin (Cipro)
  • moxifloxacin (Avelox)
  • levofloxacin (Levaquin)
  • norfloxacin (Noroxin)
  • ofloxacin (Floxin)
