STB Med Ward changes

In October 2009 STB will be making changes to medicine wards beds.

  • B5 will move to E5 - Location label will be changed to STB_E6. The change starts at serial number 6313 onward. The last patient with location STB_B5 is serial 6312.
  • B4 will move to B5 sometime mid to late Nov 2009.


    • Implications -
  • Option 1 retain label for Var 1 & 2 (ward label) and Julie change report output label.
  • Option 2 change ward label in S tables for HanDBase & Access, programmer write code to remap all Var 1 & 2 codes in MEDTMX, Julie rewrite SAS codes.
  • the "move" data in tmpv2 is also affected. Not sure this is worth recoding. Will email my suggestion before posting more here.TOstryzniuk 19:55, 19 October 2009 (CDT)
