Drug Toxicity for Immunosuppressives
499-21 Other Overdose/Poisoning - accidental or toxicity - other drugs.
If problem more specific then you can use one of the following codes:
- 211-1 Thrombocytopenia - 2nd to (any) drug sensitivity or toxicity (includes chemo)
- 212-2 Pancytopenia - 2nd to chemotherapy
- 212-3 Pancytopenia - 2nd to chronic Immunosuppression

Discussion
As of 16 Nov 09, 499-21 is not actually on either Access or the PDA. It probably also wasn't when I imported the diagnoses to the wiki, since it was manually added. Should we have this, or not. If we should, it needs to be added back to the programs. Ttenbergen 16:32, 16 November 2009 (CST)
- I have had e few patients with drug toxicity, specifically to immunosuppressives. This is not iatrogenic, nor an overdose, nor an allergic reaction. Do you think having a specific code for drug toxicity in the Poison Section would be of benefit? FLindell 17:06, 18 August 2008 (CDT)

- Speaking of drug toxicities this could also include antibiotics as well ie: vancomycin. MWaschuk 14:00, 21 August 2008 (CDT)
