Revision as of 13:15, 2019 October 16
There have been concerns about the volume of work generated by CCI entries. Since we had already reduced certain entries earlier in 2019, the numbers referenced here are only for pts admitted during the third quarter of 2019.
Summary
A small number of records have a high CCI count. On reviewing a small sample of high-count records, it appears that repeated entries of same things account for most of the high-count records. On the Picklist, the high repeaters are CXRs, AXRs, Transfusions and Blood Gases. On the Component List, the high repeaters are CTs, MRIs, Drainages and Radiations.
