Disabling autocorrect in MS Access to prevent "correction" of names

We have had problems with CCMDB "correcting" the name Cliche to the word Cliché, so autocorrect should be off in our programs.

Manual setting

In Access, click on Tools, AutoCorrect options, and uncheck "replace text as you type".

I have changed the following fields to disallow autocorrect in the settings for the field in the form:

  • firstname
  • lastname
