We currently consider medicine wards as CTU, NTU and several other types.

- 2019-10-08 emailed Julie and Trish to finally get this resolved. They are away for two weeks.
- Mar 6 Task meeting (item 3) - Discussed further what value a unit at start of admission would actually be, and whether it would be worth collecting
- Feb 25 Task meeting (item 5) - Allan had contacted the Medicine leaders with a suggestion of collecting a separate value for "unit type at admission" - the medicine people who had responded by this time were OK with this.
- after that: Julie identified that Medicine wants this data in reports
- July 12 Task Meeting (item 4): we decided to stop making this distinction.
Concepts affected by this
Various things are affected by this change, so listing them and making sure we are OK with all of them.
- CTU - if this will be no longer relevant we should delete it and clean up what links to it.
- NTU - if this will be no longer relevant we should delete it and clean up what links to it.
- Property:Collection Location Service Type - how would we group them in here? We'd need a new term, propose "ward"...
- GRA Medicine Collection Guide
- HSC Boarding Locations#Medicine
- S dispo.service type
- site pages such as GRA N3 and all its counterparts
- Parked_in_ER#Data_use
- HSC Medicine Collection Guide
- Template:Collection Location
any of Julie's Reporting that use this concept? I no longer used the hierarchy level when computing transfer delays. I assume that if transfer ready datetime is present, DC follows the rule and they are included in the computation. In Medicine Report, there is no more tables showing teaching vs. non teaching. --JMojica 11:10, 2020 January 30 (CST) |
CTU vs NTU - we decided at task that we wanted to eliminate the distinction. A lot of things are part of their network of information, so we will need to work out the details above before we can move ahead.
