According to different places different things are true. Somewhere it said: Template:Discussion

  • This location is collected by the GRA_N3 collector.

Which is true? Ttenbergen 16:54, 2015 November 18 (CST)

Not sure what you mean here. EMIP pts are the pts admitted to Medicine in Emergency but who never get to a ward prior to their discharge. They are completed by the collector who does N3 and entered into the N3 laptop for sending, with the pt location of GRA_EMIP. It sounds like you may be talking about overflow pts above. If a Medicine pt is admitted to a non Medicine ward or borrowing a bed, we enter the pt location as N5, N3 or W3 depending on which ward the pt would have been admitted to had they gone to one of the Medicine wards. We then also then would fill in variable 5 for Medicine overflow.
