Additional Info
Hantavirus is normally found in infected rodents, and humans may become infected through contact with rodent urine, saliva or feces. Some strains can be fatal, such as hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS)/hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPS).
Alternate ICD10s to consider coding instead or in addition
(turn these into links to the actual diagnosis articles if possible. For some that might make no sense.)
Candidate Combined ICD10 codes
(put links to likely candidates coded with this one, eg. a cause for a trauma.)
