- This is a wastebasket category for a number of different types of iatrogenic injury codes. Try to choose one that's more specific to the problem at hand. Here is a listing of all of them: Iatrogenic codes in ICD10
- This code includes when a wound closure/anastamosis itself is INTACT (e.g. sutures, staples, etc all in place as they should be), but there is copious drainage from it (e.g. between the staples). Thus, an anastomotic leak with the closures intact is included here (rather than as Iatrogenic, dehiscence or rupture or disruption, surgical wound NOS.
