Lab Collection Process

  • The old version of counting labs has been replaced by the coding of procedures using a subset of the Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI).
  • See Converting Lab Counts to CCI.
  • If a patient has no procedure entries by the end of their stay, enter No procedure performed in the picklist.

  • See Admit Procedure for CCI collection guidelines within 48 hrs before admission.
