Welcome to the Regional Critical Care & Medicine Information Management & Research Database Program (CCMDB) wiki.

ongoing network connection losses

Marie talked about an ongoing series of network connection losses affecting Conc and Vic for sure. Sometimes when people get back to their desk they can't access the Regional Server. A complete re-boot is required to fix this. Template:Discussion

  • Who all is having this problem? How frequent is it? Does anyone know hot to MAKE this happen? (If we can replicate it it makes it more likely that eHealth can fix it) Ttenbergen 10:49, 6 May 2011 (CDT)
  • Marie says same happens at the Grace Ttenbergen 10:46, 31 May 2011 (CDT)
  • Found out same thing happens at SBGH Ttenbergen 10:46, 31 May 2011 (CDT)

New Hire

Natalie Nordin has accepted a position with the data collection team. She will start orientation in the First week of June. Natalie will start orientation at GRA_MICU on June 27 with Marie Laporte for approx 2-3 weeks.--TOstryzniuk 17:00, 13 June 2011 (CDT)

Position changes

  • Gail Hall has accepted a position in MICU_HSC May 30.11.--TOstryzniuk 16:24, 11 May 2011 (CDT)
  • Pat Stein will move from HSC_B3_D5 to HSC_H4_H4H starting July 4.11.

Transfer Tracker Usage

I am excited to have the following request from Con:

  • Can the Transfer Tracker be programmed to automatically up-date on Sunday night at 24:00? This would allow us to access relatively current information.--CMarks 15:01, 14 April 2011 (CDT)

Someone is actually using the Transfer Tracker.

Sadly, the answer to your question is "not in the current configuration". It's an access program, and someone has to run it to make it do something. Having said that, if this becomes commonly used we might be able to do this on a rotational basis or something. Let's see how many people are using it.

Template:Discussion

  • Is anyone else using the transfer tracker? Are you finding it useful?

Organization of Information

For more information on using this wiki, see Communication via this wiki and Editing Tips.

To add a Discussion to any article see: Instruction. A discussion will automatically be added to the Questions category.

As this wiki is growing (now at 4,855 articles), the easiest way to find information is to use the "search" bar on the left side.

If you can not find information you are looking for, it might not have been added yet. In that case, make a new entry and add it to the Category:Questions category. There are instructions at that link on how to do this. Collectors are encouraged to keep an eye on that category and to answer or further qualify.

More Detailed Index

Your best bet to find information is to use the search function which can be found on the left hand side of this screen. Alternatively, here are the categories most commonly used by data collectors & main office staff.
