This might be an evil twin of Multiple encounter linking checks.
We link patient-ward-stays into patient-hospitalizations where possible. The linked data is used for
- Readmission (has questions)
- Continuous Stay (has questions)
- which reports care? please update and link relevant articles? .
The multiple encounter consistency checks tests for record pairs that are almost-but-not-quite a continuous stay.
Use
The data processor will check it weekly and fix likely matches found as appropriate. <will need to update vetting to tell where this fits. >
The task is currently done by the Statistician and we'd like to get it off her plate. |
