Data by Patient and Date

  • Includes SITE, UNIT, SERIAL, CALENDAR_DATE, T1 - T49, BED_23HR, BED_OCCUP, TISS_SCORE
    • CALENDAR_DATE = ITEM_DATE (i.e., date TISS item data was collected from admit date to discharge date)
    • T1 - T49 = is individual TISS item scored (1-yes, 0-no)
    • BED_23HR = is bed occupied by patient at 2300 hrs (1-yes, 0-no)
    • BED_OCCUP = number of hours bed occupied per day (for partial days, e.g., on first and last day of stay, number of hours is calculated as bed/24*100)
    • TISS_SCORE = sum of TISS points for each CALENDAR_DATE (see TISS Item List for individual TISS item points)
    • To determine BED_OCCUP and BED_23HR, the admit date_time and discharge date_time are required
