Roaming profiles was a functionality where computer users could log into any PC on WRHA network and would get a desktop with shortcuts and files stored on desktop that would be the same from one PC to another.

It was discontinued around 2020: https://home.sharedhealthmb.ca/files/roaming-profile-faq.pdf

Roaming profiles would cause problems for data collectors so we used to have to ask to have this disabled.
