This information has been added to the exceptions in [[Definition of a Medicine Service admission]].
Current Collection Guidelines for E6B laptop:

* E6B
* EMIP’s /OVERs (Overs to covid suspect units excluded, these are all collected on E6B laptop) from 1-15th of the month inclusive using the same serial number pool as E6B. if med service A, notify E5 collector so the patient can be added to E5 laptop, if med service B add patient to E6B laptop with a boarding entry.
* Collection of all medicine patients admitted to designated covid suspect unit(s). These units are subject to change. The current unit is A6S. For any admissions to covid suspect units, please check the admitting service carefully:
** For Medicine A service, enter service location as E5 with a boarding location entry
** For Medicine B service, enter service location as E6B with a boarding location entry
** For Medicine unspecified service, if you can determine from physician name at all, or default to Medicine A service with service location as E5 with a boarding entry. The rationale for this is that during covid first wave, A service was the initial designated service for medicine covid suspect/covid positive unit(s). Use your judgement.
** Any Medicine A service covid suspect patients (E5) transferred to E5, add a boarding location entry of return to home unit and continue to follow the patient while on E5 until dishcharge.
** Any Medicine B service covid suspect patients (E6B) transferred to E6B, add a boarding location entry of return to home unit and continue to follow patient.
* Should a medicine covid positive unit open up, that unit is also collected on the E6B laptop. Main office will have to be notified for further direction and a service location with a C in it may to be added to the E6B laptop depending on main office decision(s).
