The [[EPR]] is now used at all sites. Because collectors require access to other sites' data, accounts for data collectors are set up differently than other site staff.

The EPR accounts are actually set up by the "acute care" group. 
 
When a new collector is hired, a new, separate EPR account is set up in addition to any local hospital accounts they might have. The account name will be the regular login followed by '''xxdc''', example: '''tostryzniukxxdc'''.  Collectors should use this account exclusively for their data collection work.

This page explains how to get a Data collector xxdc account for EPR set up.

Setting up a new collector

The Manager submits an ACTM form to Service Desk as part of the Hiring a New Data Collector process.

  1. check off EPR box and under Role put: set up alternate account, xxdc (see also Data collector xxdc account for EPR)
  2. Access Web Reports
  3. On the form at the bottom in the comment section: Please setup as a "WRHA regional data collector" account to be generated as per information including Data Collector Role in the Account Management Instructions that are on file in eHealth. EPR alternate account and Web reports required. The WRHA Data collector role instructions would also contain Regional share info.
  4. on this form you must also indicate which email distribution lists person will be on. Example: DC HSC CC, DC CC

Tina Tenbergen facilitated the streamlining of instruction with eHealth insetting up a Regional data collector in regard to network, EPR, Regional Server, DI_Viewer etc.
