We have two fields Start Date field and Start Time field that hold an automatic time stamp from when a record is first created. They are in two separate fields because way back when this was created we used software that stored date and time separately. Since they will generally be considered together, this page contains details for the combination of those fields.
Use
This data is mostly used to better understand the work flow in our data collection. Generally, the difference between the Accept DtTm and the Start Date and Time tells us what we can expect for a delay before the Minimal Data Set would be available.
STB CICU
Patients in will sometimes have an earlier Start Date and Time than Accept DtTm. See details for reason at STB CICU Collection Guide#Entering of patients before they are accepted.
