Template:ICD10 Guideline Decubitus Ulcer

Template to make sure extra information is consistent for the various Decubitus Ulcer diagnoses.

Includes

pressure ulcers from rectal tubes, ETT/trach, PEG tube, splints combine with Iatrogenic, complication of medical or surgical care NOS

If there are pressure ulcers on DIFFERENT body parts (e.g. left heel, right heel, coccyx) then code them separately
If there are multiple pressure ulcers close to each other on the same body part (e.g. coccyx area) then only code the one with the highest/worst stage.

Progression of Ulcers should be coded following our guidelines for Acquired Diagnosis combine each stage progression with the date and time it was noted in the chart.

	Julie will report on the worst stage from Acquired Diagnosis How will that work now with the locations included? How will the report aggregate? And: which report? It should link to the diagnoses using the wiki infrastructure. If you tell me which report(s) I can set that up. Ttenbergen 15:35, 30 June 2025 (CDT) what is the rank of this in relation to decubitus stages? is this before stage 1 or what? - Julie By "this" do you mean the Category:Decubitus Deep Tissue Damage? It's not before 1, it's a different thing and can apparently be serious, and likely to progress to a higher stage pressure ulcer. Might be best to report it as its own thing.
