The Dx_Priority is coded as part of the [[ICD10 collection]]. ~~One and only~~ one of the [[Admit Diagnosis | Admit Diagnoses]] with the lowest Dx Priority ~~should~~ have the [[Dx Primary]] checkbox checked.

The number could be anything, e.g. the lowest might be 0.9. Using decimal numbers can be helpful in re-ranking diagnoses as more information becomes available.

Example: You initially coded three dxs as priority 1, 2 and 3. Then the you realize that the dx with priority 2 is actually the more important one. You change it to 0.5, so now the priorities are 0.5, 1, 3 and 0.5 is the lowest, so can be used with [[Dx Primary]].
