This article explains the process of crosschecking our patient identifier from our database with  Manitoba Health Database (MHSC).

==Purpose of sending data to MHSC?==
This article explains the process of crosschecking our patient identifier from our database with  Manitoba Health Database (MHSC). See [[Manitoba Health Crosschecking Background]] for background information on the process.

*aligning and correcting our patient ID information with MHSC
*maintaining consistency of key patient identifiers in our database when a patient is readmitted.
