| We also confirmed that it would be collectable, ie it would always be possible to find out what kind of ECMO it was. ("ICMS at STB only keeps VV ecmo patients. If a patient has AV ecmo inserted then they are readily transported to the Cardiac ICU.")

| Let's add two different DX codes in the same "other" grouping.

| * 76342 - ECMO Veno-venous
| |
| * 76343 - ECMO Veno-arterial

| These numbers would keep the old and new code numbers grouped close together. The old 76339 would be made unavailable for new collection.

| Existing ECMO dxs would remain as 76339 because the old code was undifferentiated, and we would not know which it was.
