+Our collectors are all Critical Care trained nurses, allowing them to interpret the information they find from a medical point of view.
+They work on the wards/units several times a week, generally while the patient is still admitted, allowing them to ask questions of ward/unit staff when the contents of the charts are not clear.
+The clinical training and presence at the point of patient care help our collectors gather data that is of higher quality than what would be available from a purely administrative data set like the Discharge Abstract Data ([[DAD]]).
