* Hello Collectors, several of you have reported that this button sometimes opens a new profile when pressed. It still also populates the MRSA entries into the original profile, but the new profile should not happen. This only happens intermittently, and I need to know the exact circumstances. It probably has to do with the field you are in when you click the button or something similar regarding the exact clicks you do before the MRSA button. Coudld anyone provide a set of steps that consistently triggers this? If I can replicate this then fixing it should be quick.

* I tried this morning and when I start a new profile, and click on the MRSA button first without any other data entry, a new profile with a blank serial # is created.  When I entered visit ID only and then the MRSA button it works fine.  I tried entering a bunch of fields first and then the MRSA button and it too works fine.  The only other thing needed to add is when it prepopulates in CCI pick the Px count needs to be 1, it currently leaves it at 0.  Thanks T [[User:Lkaita|Lisa Kaita]] 07:21, 2019 November 6 (CST)

* I found the same thing as Lisa, if I hit the mrsa button first, without entering anything else, it created a new blank entry. I also noticed that it entered it in the cci pick as an acquired. I just checked the wiki again, and the instructions are:

* I also noticed that it entered it in the cci pick as an acquired. I just checked the wiki again, and the instructions are:
"In the context of Colonized with organism (not infected). If a patient is placed on Isolation, infectious on arrival only for the reason of  pre existing MRSA (or other colonization), then code Admit Diagnosis Colonized with organism (not infected) and code the isolation as an Admit Procedure."

I use this colonized but not infected a lot. I am puzzled as to why it has been set up to enter as an acquired, and not an admit. [[User:DPageNewton|DPageNewton]] 08:53, 2019 November 6 (CST)
