I propose we do the following:

* eliminate the room number

* add PHIN and DOB

* to make all of the two new fields fit combine fields (only on the patient list) into something like

** LastName, FirstName (DOB - chart - PHIN)

** I am totally open to order of components and delimiters (ie brackets, spaces, commas, dashes...)

* we could save space also by changing the formats of admit and discharge columns. Are times required? How about hours only, or no year? Full info would still be available in patient record

* could make the record on the patient list into two lines if we need more info or larger fonts, but there would be a lot more scrolling. Thoughts?

* start collecting to/from wards for cc in variables (same as medicine)

* set up an extractor for Pagasa in cleaner to be able to send collectors the whole story about a patient for whom she has questions.

** would that help? I am not clear on what she actually asks people to do.

*No reduction in font size please. DOB and PHIN required if chart number entered incorrectly, and when the medical wards have many pts who share last names as well as first it is essential. HSC does not require room #s. Clarify where the admit date and time are to go as they are already capture. Also clarify the comment of the note field. The space is fine as is.
