** I found that if I moved my laptop from one ward to another without logging off somehow the mouse would erase and click on and off stuff I had not entered. So now I log off to transport my laptop.

**I have never had data disappear but I know that if you inadvertently press 'page down' on your laptop it will look like the data has disappeared but it just moves up and you need to bring it back down again.
