* See [[:Category:Iatrogenic mechanism]] for another curve ball... some of those may need to be ''allowed'' (but not required) as mechanisms - or do they?
* Another possibility would be to introduce the concept of "potential trauma" and change the cross check similar to potential infection. We would need to identify all dxs on the wiki that are potential traumas and might need to be coded with mechanisms. Or, we could decide to do away with this cross check because it's too much trouble? Ttenbergen 20:28, 2019 May 27 (CDT)}}

The outcome of this might cause a change to Template:ICD10 Guideline Iatrogenic and/or Template:ICD10 Guideline Trauma w mechanism |
Change log
2019-06-18 - removed Iatrogenic mechanism that was added before, I think I misunderstood that during the early troubleshooting for this query 2019-05-14 - included Iatrogenic mechanism as permitted mechanisms 2019-05-14 - simplified listing 2019-05-09 - used to only check that mechanisms had traumas, added check that traumas have mechanisms.
