D4 is a teaching medical ward, which prior to 2019 was the designated ward for the renal transplant patients. Transplant patients are now admitted to the High Obs unit, and return to the High Obs unit post-op. The majority of patients on this ward are admitted under "D" service, although Nephrology will also admit patients to this unit.

HSC D4 pre COVID

for a while we had a mention of a D4 pre COVID ward. No such thing in s_dispo table and not sure if the ward is back to being the regular H Service ward. Could someone update what happened there and where we are at now? There might be hints and mentions in Category:2020 COVID unit transition Ttenbergen 21:31, 2020 October 8 (CDT)
