Debbie described that she enters these tasks using just the keyboard and tabbing.

According to her this takes about 3 seconds; I did a little test of this, and while I don't do this every day it still only took me about 10. That is faster than I could do with the pre-entered tasks and the touchpad, and about the same as I could do with a mouse.

I am happy to hear that some of you are adopting tabbing in your data entry as it is definitely faster than using the mouse, but I have no idea how many people are tabbing vs. mousing.

* I would like to get a better idea how you guys have adopted using the laptops so I can set up the CCMDB in the way that works best for most. Who is using tabbing extensively in entering data, who is using the mouse, and who uses touchpad? I assume everyone uses mouse or touchpad to some degree, so you might enter several of the sections. *** Hey Con, We thought about defaulting these to "none" but decided ''not'' to do this because some of them are rare and the risk of missing those if they are always defaulted would be to great. However, you are the second person to tell me you found the old way quicker. I am a little confused about this as I can't imagine how that could be, so I was wondering if you could explain. I just want to clarify: for new patients, the tasks will now all be present in Dxs as soon as you add the patient. So, I wonder if it's old patients for whom you are now entering tasks where you find this slower, or if you really do find it slower for new patients also. I can easily turn this new functionality back off, I just want to be sure that we look at it how it was intended, rather than from the temporary angle where it is a bit more tedious to actually enter tasks for existing patients at the moment.
