Note: See Labs for more general info on the labs data.
The Critical Care database counts the laboratory tests listed at S_AllLabs for every patient for their entire LOS in a unit. Different collection of labs is collected at HSC than elsewhere. Some lab data at HSC is imported directly.
Lab Collection Process
- For every ICU patient,
- for every laboratory test on S_AllLabs
- locate the specific lab,
- enter the number of times the test was performed
- if a patient has no labs by the end of their stay:
- for every laboratory test on S_AllLabs
enter a date and leave zeros under all the labs.
- if a culture is taken but the sample was inadequate to produce a result, the culture is still counted under lab counts.
Lab Dat Clean up for ICU and Med
- Found a bug in ICU and Med MAIN lab data file with the lab uploader.exe. If multiple batches of lab data are uploading one after another without exiting upload program between each batch, the first patient lab file is left open and accumulates any lab totals.
- Fixed lab data and program for ICU and medicine April.2011
- ICU LAB Before Ed Cleaning the lab_sub Mar 2, 2011
- ICU LAB After Ed Cleaned the Lab_sub Apr. 6, 2011
