  • A
  • B

  • O

• Project ABO TEE LV fraction (LV ejection fraction from intra-op TEE (Transesophageal echocardiogram), before Cardiopulmonary bypass)
  • <20%
  • 20-29%
  • 30-49%
  • 50% or greater

• Project ABO TEE function (Right ventricular function from intra-op TEE before cardiopulmonary bypass:)
  • If the documentation says mild-moderate or moderate to severe, then coding would be towards the worse value-eg. Mild-moderate would be recorded as moderate and moderate-severe would be recorded as severe.
  • Values are:
    • Normal
    • Mildy depressed
    • Moderately depressed
    • Severely depressed

make ABO TEE LV fraction numerical?

• There had been talk about making this numerical rather than ranges. Easy to make numerical, just ask collector to enter int of float. Do we really want these as ranges? I will wait to implement this till I hear back. Ttenbergen 17:21, 2013 January 25 (EST)
  • I had asked Lois Bilesky, STB-CICU, what results she normally sees on the OR charts and she said it is normally report as a range and not exact values, so hence decided on ranges. Lois can you confirm this with Tina. A exact value is better, but if normally reported as a range than that is what is has to be.-Trish Ostryzniuk 19:36, 2013 January 25 (EST)
