We aim to "evergreen" our laptops by replacing 1/3 of them every year, meaning none should usually be older than 3 years.
replacements for 2014
Laptops planned to be replaced this year are in workstations.mdb. The following 5 have warranty that expires June 4 and are our highest priority:
- OAK_MICU
- HSC_B3
- STB_CCU
- STB_E6
- HSC_SICU
Email Tom Fraser March 7, we are replacing 5. Email Tom March 24ish, they have been ordered.
exception 2013
In 2013 we could not get a new model tested, so we decided to extend warranty for one year for the oldest laptops. They will be replaced in 2014.
