Note: This applies to the APACHE IIARF checkbox only, see ARF (Diagnosis) for instructions on coding the diagnosis ARF.
To check of the Acute Renal Failure (ARF) checkbox for ICU APACHE, a patient must meet all the following criteria:
- both
- creatinine > 133 mmols
- urine < 135 cc for 8 hrs consecutively in the first 24 hrs
- patient does not qualify forChronic Renal Failure (CRF)
