  • Just wondering why the overstay project has stopped at HSC when it continues everywhere else? I thought this was a regional program. If there is resistance to completing the DPST's or if the Doc's are not doing their part they need to work with them. We have had much of the same issues at STB and have worked hard to keep it operational because we thought it was an important program. I am very surprised that the program was cancelled there. What is the rationale for keeping it running at all the other hospitals then? --LKolesar 08:32, 2015 November 6 (CST)

    • I would still like to know the rationale for keeping the program at all. All of the allied health people tell us that they have always evaluated the need for allied health on admission long before this program started. They have always started discharge planning as soon as possible, especially on the patients which they deem as problematic for discharge. What rationale is there for continuing this program?? What criteria was utilized for opting out at HSC?--LKolesar 11:47, 2015 November 10 (CST)
