Cardiac cath lab
HSC Cath Lab, STB Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology are now options for Previous Location and Dispo. There are questions how these are to be used.
Only for Cardiac Catheterizations?
Template:Discussion Needs to be defined. For example is it just cardiac cath lab or is it a location for any type of angio procedure? For example a stroke 25 patient comes from a HSC location where an arterial cerebral angiogram with thrombolytic interventon. For our data collection purpose did the patient come from interventional radiology or from a cath lab? This information would be required for the dispo field previous location.
We revisited this question at the staff meeting June 8,2016.Trish is thinking about it and will get back to us with an answer.
- Per task meeting today, cath lab is only used for cardiac catheterizations. All others are done in the radiology intervention suite.--CMarks 15:26, 2016 July 25 (CDT)

- There are entries for "HSC Cath Lab" and "STB Cath Lab" and "Interventional Radiology". Do we use the Cath Labs only for heart cath? When do we use Interventional Radiology? And why is that one not split out to site?
- Yes, my understanding is Cardiac cath lab. But if there are other type, does it matter? Will the previous service or pre-admit inpatient institution become a problem? JMojica 13:22, 2016 May 31 (CDT)
