- code with Aneurysm
- do both need to be coded since you can't have one without the other? Could be a waste of a DX slot. If we really want to make this mandatory it is something that could have an internal consistency check. Ttenbergen 12:51, 2012 November 19 (EST) Template:Discussion Template:Potential Change
- If a patient has an aneurysm repaired, it is obvious that they have an aneurysm. I know current practice is to put the repair and then use another slot to code the aneurysm. This may not be required in these cases. However, if the patient has an aneurysm, it does not necessarily mean that it will or has been repaired so the reverse is not true. --LKolesar 14:42, 2012 November 19 (EST)
