Mapping Database Diagnosis Codes to APACHE II (old)

APACHE II has its own diagnostic categories with assigned weights that are used in a formula to predict risk of death. The Regional Database Diagnostic Codes have been mapped to these APACHE II Diagnostic Categories.

This was done in 2005 by Dr. Carla Chrusch and updated in 2007 by Dr. Kendiss Olafson.
