Date and Time Format

Revision as of 10:34, 14 September 2017 by Ttenbergen (talk | contribs) (no need to change to ISO sometime the odd formats we use work better for us; currently using specifically discussed formats in different places.)

The Critical Care and Medicine Databasea uses different date and time formats throughout as work best for their context. The dates are stored internally in a format-independent way, so we can change this to suit us.

  • yy-mon-dd HH:mm (eg. 16-04-25 17:03) is used sometimes to save space, e.g. admit and discharge display on top of patient viewer
  • yyyy-month-dd (1960-Jan-01) is used in some places, eg DOB, tmp date, in Patient viewer (any objections if I make it e.g. 1960-01-01 for consistency?)
  • yymonthdd HH:mm on patient list.
  • yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm (eg. 2016-04-25 17:03) is used in much of Category:2016 Time and Place changes
