There was a request to list all community nursing homes, assisted living, etc. with addresses on the wiki.

Rationale given was that this helps determine which kind of Pre acute living situation field entry a given address corresponds to.

If that is the main use for this list, then maybe there it should be integrated into CCMDB instead of being a wiki entry. This would be used all the time, so it would seem more convenient if it were integrated.

I could make a "helper" button similar to the ones for blood pressure etc that would open a pick list of locations. If the location is on the list, the appropriate entry would be put into the field. The generic "apartment" or "house" options could also be on the list so collectors an pick that if the address does not show up.

This might be over-complicating it. I could also just have a button to show the list, either by launching the wiki artilce or by showing the internal-to-CCMDB list. How many locations do not have Wireless networking when they enter this particular field - if none, then it would best live on wiki, but if some don't it might be best in CCMDB.

  • I think it would be utilized more if you had it as a "helper" button.--LKolesar 07:48, 2017 March 15 (CDT)
    • A helper button works even if wifi does not. We tend to have a significant number of times we lose wireless at HSC as not all wards have it.--CMarks 07:42, 2017 March 16 (CDT)
      • Sorry, this fell between the cracks. Do we still want this? Does anyone have a master list that I can use as a starting point? Ttenbergen 14:16, 2019 October 4 (CDT)
        • No one has stepped up in a month. If anyone is willing to set up the master list then I can put it on wiki. Taking this out of discussions for now. Ttenbergen 18:03, 2019 November 13 (CST)
