  • Admit Type for APACHE II: Elective Surgery
  • Previous Service : Urology surgery
  • If a patient is admitted to another unit post-op then transferred to your unit, another problem needs to go in the first admit spot. The program doesn't allow this procedure to go first unless they come from the OR. No changes will be made to this process. April 10,2013
  • Initial vital signs are taken from the last recorded in recovery.
  • The admission diagnosis will be Nephrectomy - Kidney Donor (80101)
  • The Nephrologists state the donors always have a renal biopsy on the donor kidney, but the surgeon may not document this.
