Personal Care Home

Personal Care Homes (PCHs) are community placements for patients who can not be cared for at home. They are relevant in CCMDB in the following ways:

• the Personal Care Home entry in Pre acute living situation field
• possibly in generating the Overstay colour
• in Awaiting/delayed transfer to long-term care/PCH
• in PCH data dump - storage of lifetime PCH info

Why is overstay red when pt from PCH

• Why would my overstay predictor be a RED when the patient is from a PCH and is Comfort Care? I have had several reds come up when they are from PCHs.--Llemoine 14:30, 2018 January 19 (CST)
