  • When a coronary artery stent is done, a coronary angiogram and angioplasty must first be done. If you code coronary artery stent alone, it is assumed that an angiogram and a plasty were also done so you can code all three or you can just code coronary artery stent to capture all three. This was verified in the Task Team on October 20th, 2015.
