Entering a record without an Arrive DtTm (such as a pt still in ER) used to cause errors for Minimal Data Set cross check; the check has been removed.
* I have entered a patient who is accepted to medicine service and still in ER, since patient disposition is not yet known whether EMIP or move to an inpatient unit the information needed to enter into Arrive DtTm field is not available and therefore cannot be entered. Pre-send Checker indicates there is an error with minimal data set and collector will not be able to send unless something is entered. What is to entered into the Arrive date/time field for these scenarios when patient disposition is not yet known? Thanks, Pamela Piche 11:03, 2020 November 26 (CST)
**This happened to S6 when I tried to send showing error with minimal data set. If I remember correctly, EMIPs accept equals arrive dtm so I just duplicated that and PreSend checker allowed report to send. We would have to change Arrive dtm if/when they transfer to a unit we collect?--Mailah Damian 11:38, 2020 November 26 (CST)
** Good point! We have removed the requirement for an Arrive DtTm from Minimal Data Set so Pre-send Checker so this should not cause trouble any longer. If it still causes trouble, please post here, of not this discussion can be removed around 2020-12-26 once everyone has had a chance to see that this is fixed.
