The Date of Birth (or DOB) is, among other things, used in calculating the patients' ages for APACHE II scoring. The patient's age will be calculated as a difference between the DOB and the admit date.
Data Integrity
The minimum age allowed is 10, the maximum age allowed is 107. If the data of birth would lead to a patient age outside of this range, the CCMDB.mdb will not allow you to send.
